All Telehealth consultations, regardless of concession card status will be privately billed (not bulk billed) starting at $50.05 for brief calls up to Standard Gaps for consults.
Private Billing July 1st 2026 – Uraidla Family Practice will be moving to a private billing model. This change has been carefully considered to help ensure we can continue providing high-quality care and maintain the long-term sustainability of our clinic. We remain committed to supporting the most vulnerable members of our community and will continue to consider individual circumstances. Private billings will apply to appointments with Dr Emma King, Skin clinics and all procedural clinics regardless of concession status, this means that these appointments will not be bulk-billed.

Private patients are expected to pay on the day of the visit.
We accept credit cards and EFTPOS to facilitate this.
Our Tyro facility permits instant refund from Medicare into your savings or cheque account, provided you bring your card with you. Alternatively if you have registered your bank details with Medicare we can make an online claim with Medicare on your behalf which will see your Medicare rebate deposited into your registered bank account.
Please bring your current Medicare Card and concession cards with you each time you visit.
Wound Management: In addition to the consultation fee, there may include a seperate fee for clinic supplied bandages. You will be consented regarding bandage fees prior to their use and the costs is dependant on complexity.
Procedures: Please note skin clinic based fees are more complex and best discussed with the treating doctor.

Non Attendance/Late Cancellation Fee: We ask that you give us at least 4 hours notice if you cannot attend your booked appointment allowing us to offer the appointment to another patient who needs it. Failing to attend or not notifying within this time frame may result in a non-attendance fee of $50 for a standard appointment or $100 for a double appointment. This fee must be paid prior booking another appointment at the practice, please note this fee does not have a Medicare rebate.
