Private Billing July 1st 2026 – Uraidla Family Practice will be moving to a private billing model. This change has been carefully considered to help ensure we can continue providing high-quality care and maintain the long-term sustainability of our clinic. We understand that this may affect you and your family, and we’re here to help. Uraidla Family Practice is a true family practice situated in the beautiful Adelaide Hills amongst the vineyards, cherry orchards and apple orchards.
Just 15 minutes up from the eastern suburbs and twenty minutes from Mt Barker and Littlehampton, the practice offers same day appointments and quality family medical care.
As medical care becomes less personal in larger clinics with many doctors, there is a lot to be said for a traditional medical practice where you are known by the doctors and practice staff. Not only do the doctors know your medical history, they know your personality and how you manage your health. It is very easy to then recognise something out of the ordinary. The result is an early diagnosis of any problems.
At Uraidla Family Practice the determination is to keep the values of traditional family medicine alive in a welcoming, friendly environment.
All our doctors, nurses and staff are committed to a family based practice and offer services to the highest order.
KEEPING YOUR HEALTH IN MIND
As we continue to strive to keep our community safe from transmissible infections, please let our team know if you have a fever or respiratory symptoms when you are booking your appointment. Please do not enter the practice with these symptoms unless instructed otherwise.
We will be asking all patients to wear a mask if you have respiratory symptoms. These steps are to protect vulnerable patients that share the clinic as well as keeping our staff and doctors well.
Please remember if the team is sick, we can no longer help our patients.
Call 000 (Triple Zero) in an emergency, such as difficulty breathing or chest pain.
